Varionica a pioneer craft brewery in Zagreb and Croatia, was established in 2014 and has recently relocated to a new modern facility in Pisarovina. In the same year, master brewer Franjo Razum founded the Razum microbrewery in the basement of his family house in Samobor. He exclusively sells lagers in his beer hall, and his speciality is the unique beer liqueur called Pliker.
