PRONACUL Project Reaches the Finals in the EU Project Awards

The project: „Promotion of natural and cultural heritage to develop sustainable tourism in protected areas – PRONACUL / Promocija prirodne i kulturne baštine za razvoj održivog turizma u zaštićenim područjima“ has been selected for the finals of the Best EU Project Awards in the category “Best Projects Contributing to Cross-Border Cooperation.”

The Best EU Project Awards aim to raise public awareness of the successful use of European Union funds and to showcase numerous local projects to a broader audience. This year’s selection process for the 2025 awards ran from June 24 to July 24, receiving more than 50 project submissions. After the first round of evaluation, an expert jury selected 46 outstanding projects to enter the finals.

The awards are organised by Jutarnji list in cooperation with the Croatian County Association, the European Parliament Office in Croatia, and the Župan.hr portal, under the auspices of the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.

Throughout August and September, Jutarnji list will publish stories about each finalist project. At the end, the public will have the opportunity to vote for the project they believe deserves the title of the Best EU Project.
