The Tourist Board of Zagreb County held its third consecutive photography contest, "Photo Zagreb County," this year. The competition aimed to select the most beautiful photos of Zagreb County. The award ceremony was attended by the winning authors of the images, which impressed the expert jury of the Zagreb County Tourist Board and social media users. The awards ceremony also featured an exhibition of the photos at the Zagreb County Tourist Board's office.

The goal is to establish a distinct identity for the destination, which requires an engaging experience for all visitors and tourists. The photo contest served as a means to showcase a unique experience through the lens of the participants, highlighting the beauty of Zagreb County. Over 300 applications were received, with motifs of rural, green, and sustainable stories dominating the entries. These entries are expected to find a place in our campaigns. It is essential to support quality, as it is crucial to the success of our destination. Ivana Alilović, the Director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board, emphasised the significance of this contest.

The authors of the most highly rated photographs were awarded prizes based on the collective judgment of an expert panel and the voting results obtained from social media platforms. The distinguished hunter and influencer Dean Kotiga, alongside Ana Gašparović, the director of the Ivanić-Grada Tourist Board, was responsible for making the final decisions.
