The Municipality of Križ, in cooperation with the Križevačka udruga pivara, is organising the 3rd edition of Krigl Fest – Craft & Grill & Rock Fest, taking place on Saturday, 21 May 2022, in the centre of Križ.
At this year’s Križ Krigl Fest, a selection of outstanding breweries will present their craft creations. Participating exhibitors include the Križevačka udruga pivara as co-organiser of the event, as well as Crafter's, Križevačka pivovara, and the local brewery Pivski mudraci.
The Krigl Fest programme begins at 6:00 PM, when beer enthusiasts can sample around 10 craft beers, including home-brewed specialities. As part of the festival programme, a lecture and presentation on home brewing will take place at 6:00 PM at the Municipal Council Hall (Trg Sv. Križa 5, Križ). The presentation will be delivered by Aleksandar Karee, President of the Križevačka udruga pivara, offering visitors valuable insights into the art and craft of homebrewing.
In addition to a rich beer selection, visitors can enjoy delicious barbecue specialities prepared by Food by Dino. The festival will also feature entertaining beer-themed competitions with valuable prizes, hosted by Krigl Fest presenters Denis and Blaž.
Staying true to tradition, excellent live music is guaranteed. This year, once again, the Zagreb-based rock band Yellow Submarine will take the stage, promising a vibrant atmosphere — along with a few special surprises for visitors. The Municipality of Križ has prepared official Krigl Fest promotional items, including T-shirts and festival glasses featuring the event logo. These will be available for purchase at popular prices, with all proceeds donated to the Caritas of the Parish of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Križ.
