The advancement of active tourism, enogastronomic tourism, and health-oriented tourism

The Zagreb County Tourist Board showcased its extensive and diverse range of tourist offerings at the Alpe-Adria Fair in Slovenia, participating in a collaborative promotion alongside the Croatian Tourist Board and the Central Croatia Cluster, coordinated by Ivana Alilović. This strategic initiative emphasised key areas such as active tourism, enogastronomy, and health tourism. Notably, the distinctive services of the Naftalan Special Hospital were highlighted within this comprehensive presentation.

During the Alpe-Adria fair, our objective is to demonstrate that Zagreb County is not merely a destination for short-term visits; rather, it encompasses a region that provides a comprehensive experience of active vacations, authentic culinary offerings, and exceptional health services. Our events and promotion of active tourism substantiate our status as a year-round destination for enjoyment. I particularly appreciate our participation in a collaborative promotion alongside the Croatian Tourist Board and the Central Croatia Cluster, which further enhances the recognition of continental tourism," stated Ivana Alilović, Director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board and President of the Central Croatia Cluster.

Naftalan has gained recognition among international visitors as a prominent health tourism destination, integrating advanced medical expertise with natural healing resources. During the Alpe-Adria fair, we aim to enhance our visibility and offerings within the Slovenian market, demonstrating considerable interest in health programs focused on prevention and rehabilitation," stated Milica Birk, the Director of the Naftalan Special Hospital.
