Senka Radovanić is recognised as the best host of Zagreb County.

The Croatian National Tourist Board, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, has announced the winners of the Local Host award. Senka Radovanić, owner of the Javor Holiday House in Žumberak, is this year's recipient for Zagreb County. The award ceremony took place during the Croatian Tourism Days in Dubrovnik, further highlighting the significance and national recognition of this prestigious honour.

The Local Host designation is a mark of excellence in family-run accommodation, awarded to hosts who provide guests with an authentic, high-quality, and responsible stay in Croatia. Hosts with this recognition offer a personal touch, genuine insight into local customs, and recommendations that reveal the unique features and hidden charms of their destinations.

In Zagreb County, 37 certified hosts proudly hold this distinguished label, reflecting the exceptional quality and dedication of hosts throughout the region—from Žumberak and Pisarovina, through Samobor and Jastrebarsko, to Sveta Nedelja, Sveti Ivan Zelina, Marija Gorica, and Velika Gorica.

Javor Holiday House stands out for its celebration of local identity, high service standards, and responsible management. Senka Radovanić's dedication has positioned this property as a benchmark of excellence, further enhancing Zagreb County's reputation as a destination for authentic, warm, and sustainable experiences.

Ivana Alilović, Director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board, highlighted on this occasion:
