The area of Zagreb County boasts a plethora of beautiful sights, and photography enthusiasts - both amateur and professional - can capture them and potentially win awards. The Tourist Board of Zagreb County is hosting the "Photo Zagreb County" contest for the third consecutive year, inviting all residents and visitors of the Zagreb ring who have a passion for photography to participate. The only requirement is that applicants must be at least 18 years old, and submissions will be accepted from April 17 until May 28, 2023. 

The "Photo Zagreb County" award competition is now in its third year and has become a traditional event hosted by our tourist board. In previous years, we have had a great turnout of participants who have helped promote Zagreb County as a destination through their amateur and professional photography. Ivana Alilović, the director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board, announced this during the opening of applications for this year's competition.

The exhibition will showcase the most exceptional submissions from various fascinating contest topics

Photography is a part of our everyday lives, whether walking in nature, attending events, having a family lunch at a local farm, or running on Sunday mornings. Nowadays, our mobile devices are an extension of almost every daily activity. The Tourist Board of Zagreb County has taken notice of this trend. It has made it possible to enter their award competition through six themes: an active stay in nature, participating in events, visiting cultural and historical landmarks, experiencing local traditions, rural life, and eno-gastronomy. 

Apart from winning valuable prizes, the top entries selected by the competition committee and social media followers will be showcased in a special exhibition after the "Photo Zagreb County" prize competition.
