The Zagreb County Tourist Board is participating in the international Tempo Libero trade fair in Bolzano, where—together with the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Representation of the Republic of Croatia in Italy based in Milan, and nine other Croatian regions—it is presenting itself as an authentic and sustainable continental destination.
Alongside Zagreb County, the continental offer is represented by Međimurje as well. At the same time, a selection of coastal destinations is being promoted, further highlighting the diversity and quality of Croatia’s tourism offering. This integrated approach provides a comprehensive presentation of Croatia as a destination that successfully connects its continental and coastal regions, offering visitors a wide range of experiences.
Special emphasis is placed on the InterWine project, co-financed through the Interreg Slovenia–Croatia Programme. The project focuses on the development of innovative eno-gastronomic products, the networking of wine regions, and the strengthening of sustainable tourism and local producers, thereby further enhancing the destination’s competitiveness on the international market.
Participation in the Tempo Libero fair confirms the importance of strategic cooperation and joint promotion in foreign markets, which are key to increasing Croatia’s visibility and positioning Zagreb County as a destination that brings together authenticity, quality, and sustainable development.
“Joint appearances on the international market demonstrate the strength of cooperation and the importance of connecting different regions. Through such initiatives, we further enhance Croatia’s visibility while clearly positioning Zagreb County as a high-quality, sustainable and authentic destination,” said the Director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board.
