The annual Rose of Zagreb County awards ceremony was recently held, marking the first time the region hosted the prestigious event. The ceremony honoured the area's finest tourism workers, facilities, and businesses. On Monday, February 20, five experts carefully reviewed the numerous applications submitted and selected the most outstanding candidates. The event was a testament to the remarkable talent and dedication of Zagreb County's tourism industry.
The "Rose of Zagreb County" award is an annual recognition of excellence in sustainable tourism, innovation, wine and gastronomy, socially responsible entrepreneurship, accommodation facilities, and individuals who have contributed significantly to recognising Zagreb County as a destination. The Zagreb County Tourist Board Director, Ivana Alilović, expressed her gratitude to all the visitors, citizens, and businesses who participated in the competition and submitted their nominations. In addition to the annual awards, two companies will be awarded special prizes at the upcoming ceremony hosted by the Zagreb County Tourist Board.
On Monday, February 20, the Rose of Zagreb County expert jury gathered to evaluate the candidacies and select the Tourist Board of Zagreb County annual contest winners. A total of 58 valid candidates for the best tourism employees, facilities, and businesses were submitted to the competition. Following a comprehensive review process, the expert jury selected the 12 best according to the award's criteria. The expert jury members of this year's competition were comprised of Mirna Medaković, Slavko Štefičar, Lana Mindoljević, Jure Galić, and Ivana Alilović. The event was conducted professionally, and the awardees were chosen based on their exceptional performance in the tourism industry.
