Located along the Lonja River in Moslavina, Ivanić-Grad has a population of approximately 14,544 and can be found along the Zagreb - Lipovac highway, just 38 km from Zagreb. The town's economic foundation is built on oil and gas production, agriculture, animal husbandry, chemical industry, and metal processing. Small and medium businesses also offer construction, tourism, catering, and trade services. Ivanić-Grad has a rich history dating back to the 13th century (1246) and is home to many cultural landmarks and monuments. The town is also renowned for its therapeutic "Naftalan" oil spa.
