She also referred to the recently held WRC Croatia Rally: “We are delighted that this major sporting spectacle, broadcast in more than 150 countries worldwide, took place partly within our country. It has sent a remarkable invitation to the world to discover Zagreb County.”
Alilović further emphasised the continuously growing interest in holiday homes in continental Croatia. “These ‘rural retreats’ provide an authentic, safe and sustainable stay for every guest, with a strong focus on nature and outdoor experiences,” she explained. She also highlighted additional assets of Zagreb County: an outstanding eno-gastronomic offer, renowned wine roads, numerous walking and cycling trails, and the county’s rich natural and cultural heritage.
