For the fifth consecutive year, "Days of the Taste of Croatian Tradition" will be held from November 15 to December 1. As part of this national gastronomic initiative, the Days of Taste of the Zagreb Region will be featured, continuing a well-established tradition. Attendees will have the opportunity to discover a variety of local culinary specialities crafted from authentic regional ingredients that exemplify the rich culinary heritage of Zagreb County.
The diverse menus of the restaurants participating in the event provide an opportunity to explore and savour various culinary offerings. Ten establishments throughout Zagreb County feature an array of homemade soups, including porcini soup, handmade pasta, Samobor garlic sausages, pork steaks, pork medallions, crispy duck, dishes enhanced by black truffle, and the essential Samobor cream cheese. Noteworthy is Kavana Livadić, renowned for its exceptional custard pies and štrukla, which exemplifies a significant tradition in confectionery. In addition to these notable dishes, a comprehensive selection of wines and sparkling wines from local wineries and family-owned farms complements the meals, further enriching the region's culinary heritage. The prices for the three-course menus range from €22.00 to €30.00, rendering the participating restaurants appealing to a broad audience.
