The boutique winery "HOUSE OF GOOD WINE TOMAC & BAJDA" was created on April 24, 1982, with the cooperation of Tomo (Tom) and Zvonimir (Bajda)! Tomo Tomac is an engineer by profession. Mechanical engineer, a former employee of INA Naftaplin, now retired, comes from the famous winegrowing family TOMAC from D. Reka, "married in" his wife’s Zvonimira, prof. Special education. They live and work with their son Lovro, father-in-law Zvonimir and daughter-in-law Danica in the family house "VILA BARICA", 31 A. i D. Starčevića street, in Jastrebarski. Considering that in both families (Tomac and Bajda), there was a centuries-old tradition of agricultural production: farming, livestock, viticulture, and winemaking (several generations), we continued it as a hobby, doing it in our free time.

In 1988, we left farming and livestock and devoted ourselves to viticulture, winemaking, and arable farming. We are increasing production by planting new plantations, and we have also built our small cellar with a cellar (wine tasting room). Since 1990, we have bottled wine under our label, Tomac & Bajda. In addition to still wines: A mixture of varieties ("Vila Barica"), Zeleni silvanac, Rhenish Riesling, and Sauvignon, we also make sparkling wine (classical method), sparkling wine "TomBa"!

Upon his retirement in 2015, the Family farm holder Tomo Tomac devoted himself to viticulture and winemaking as much as possible, from morning to night, because "the vineyard is looking for a servant, not a master"!

We are focused on traditional, natural and ecologically sustainable viticulture and winemaking. Through all the years of producing and selling high-quality wine, we are doing a lot to make Plešivica recognisable as a highly suitable territory for producing the highest quality wine. As a result, we have received awards and honours for our wines at domestic and foreign exhibitions.
