Today, we commemorate the establishment of the first democratic, multi-party Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, which was constituted in 1990. This milestone marked the commencement of the journey toward freedom, independence, and democracy.
This occasion serves as a reminder of the strength derived from unity, as well as the courage and vision demonstrated by those who aspired to a better future. Their collective efforts played a crucial role in laying the foundations of modern Croatia.
Let us remain committed to our shared responsibilities and devotion to our homeland. Together, we can construct a stronger and more equitable Croatia in which values such as solidarity, respect, and collective advancement hold significant importance.
