On Thursday, November 21, 2024, the 3rd coordination meeting of the Central Croatia Cluster was convened as part of Croatian Tourism Day. This gathering brought together representatives from the cluster, along with esteemed experts in the tourism sector, to discuss critical issues pertinent to the future advancement of tourism in continental destinations.
The primary focus of the coordination initiative was the formulation of management plans for destinations across the continent, with particular attention given to the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainable development. Through a constructive exchange of experiences and perspectives, the participants established guidelines aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of these destinations, while simultaneously preserving their authenticity and advancing sustainability.
During the discussions, significant emphasis was placed on the preparations for the participation of the Central Croatia Cluster at the upcoming international tourism fair, Alpe-Adria 2025. This event is recognized as a crucial platform for the promotion of destinations and regional tourism offerings. Furthermore, the participants collaboratively defined key objectives and activities for 2025, aimed at ensuring the sustained quality and strategic development of the region's tourism products.
