The exclusive Michelin dinner "4 Hands Dinner" was hosted on Wednesday, September 4, at the prestigious restaurant Korak, amidst the scenic backdrop of Plešivica's slopes. The Croatian Tourist Board coordinated this exceptional culinary and oenological event in collaboration with the regional tourist boards of Central Croatia. The primary objective was to showcase Croatia as a destination that harmonises tradition and sustainability with exceptional gastronomic accomplishments.
During the gastronomic event, Chefs Bernard Korak of the Korak restaurant and Rudolf Štefan of the Pelegrini restaurant in Šibenik curated an exceptional culinary experience. Both establishments proudly hold the esteemed Michelin star, a testament to their commitment to culinary excellence. Additionally, this year, the Korak restaurant in Zagreb County was honoured with the Michelin Green Star label for its dedication to sustainable gastronomy.

"The event held beneath the night sky stands as a testament to our ongoing efforts to establish the continent's presence on the global stage. Our destination is increasingly recognised as a symbol of excellence, dedication, and exceptional culinary experiences," stated Ivana Alilović, the director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board and coordinator of the Central Croatia cluster, who spearheads this initiative.
The menu featured a variety of dishes representing the local culinary scene. This allowed all the guests to savour an authentic gastronomic experience and appreciate the harmonious blend of different flavours. They could indulge in specialities crafted from ingredients such as blacksmith fish, cuttlefish, lemon verbena, anchovies, clams, prawns, roasted goat meat, garden saffron, and more.
Croatian gastronomy has gained significant recognition, prompting ongoing efforts to showcase our cuisine to local and international audiences. The food and wine industry is pivotal in attracting foreign tourists to our country.
