WRC Croatia Rally 2024

April 18-21

The Croatia Rally is the fourth event in the World Rally Championship (WRC) 2024 season, where the world's best drivers, their teams and cars will showcase their skills and technology. The challenging asphalt tracks in Croatia have been the venue for this event three times before, and this year 20 demanding high-speed tests await them. The itinerary will be 1401.93 km long, and the speed tests will cover 283.28 km. In the past, Sebastien Ogier, Kalle Rovanpera and Elfyn Evans have emerged as winners on the Croatian tracks. Interestingly, the final speed test has been the deciding factor in two out of the three WRC editions held in Croatia.

On Thursday, April 18th, the opening day of the rally race will involve the crews conducting a shakedown near Okić to fine-tune their vehicles. Following the shakedown, the Ceremonial start will take place in the evening in front of the Zagreb fountains. On Friday, April 19th, eight-speed tests will be conducted in the vicinity of Zagreb, Karlovac, and Primorje-Gorski Kotar counties. On Saturday, April 20th, eight additional speed races are scheduled in Zagreb and Karlovac counties. Finally, on the last day, Sunday, April 21st, the crews will participate in four more speed tests at well-known locations in Varaždin and Krapina-Zagorje counties. The rally race will conclude with the Ceremonial finish at the INA building in Zagreb. The primary objective of the opening day of the rally race is to fine-tune the vehicles and prepare them for the upcoming challenges. As such, the crews will engage in a shakedown near Okić. The Ceremonial start, which is scheduled for the evening, will take place in front of the Zagreb fountains. Subsequently, on Friday, April 19th, the speed tests will be conducted in three different counties, namely Zagreb, Karlovac, and Primorje-Gorski Kotar. On Saturday, April 20th, eight additional speed races will take place in Zagreb and Karlovac counties. Finally, on the last day of the race, Sunday, April 21st, the crews will engage in four more speed tests in Varaždin and Krapina-Zagorje counties. Thus, the rally race will conclude with the Ceremonial finish at the INA building in Zagreb.

The Croatia Rally is more than a mere sports competition that spans from the north of Trakošćan Castle to the south of Platak. Participants, their support staff, media representatives, and spectators alike can experience the diversity of Croatian regions, ranging from continental to coastal, each offering their own rich gastronomic delights. Many foreign visitors extend their stay in Croatia after the competition to explore the breathtaking landscapes - valleys, mountains, forests, lakes, and the sea, as well as historical landmarks such as castles and churches that provide the perfect backdrop for the Croatia Rally. The competition schedule, results, and exclusive offers are all available in one convenient location - the Croatia Rally application, which can be downloaded on Android and IOS smart devices.
