The InterWine project recently held a dynamic coordination meeting in the beautiful Slovenian landscape

The coordination meeting for the InterWine project was conducted at the Faculty of Tourism, University of Maribor, located in Brežice. This meeting included the participation of all partners from Croatia and Slovenia.

The meeting addressed strategic development directions, outlined future activities, and assessed the results and tasks accomplished to date. Through a transparent and constructive dialogue, all partners reaffirmed their strong commitment to the ongoing development of a cross-border destination that integrates wine, culture, and heritage through a sustainable approach.

The InterWine project, funded through the Interreg Slovenia-Croatia program, is set to launch in August 2024 and continue until January 2027. This initiative aims to establish a sustainable wine destination that integrates cultural heritage with wine tourism. Focused on the regions of Velika Gorica, Pušća, and Brežice, the project seeks to promote and enhance the unique qualities of these areas, creating a richer experience for both visitors and locals.

The initiative aims to develop a novel tourism product that integrates the art of winemaking with the rich cultural heritage of the respective regions. This endeavor seeks to create a distinctive and recognizable cross-border offering for visitors.
