Zagreb County has published its Tourism Development Management Plan on the e-Consultation platform, inviting all interested stakeholders and citizens to contribute with comments and suggestions to improve the plan.
Public consultation is a key step in creating an inclusive and strategically focused document, bringing together the views and recommendations of experts in tourism, economy, agriculture, culture, environmental protection, and representatives of the local community. This process ensures transparency and the high quality of the final version of the plan.

The plan is based on a vision to position Zagreb County as a destination where tourism enhances the quality of life for residents, preserves natural and cultural heritage, and promotes sustainable and innovative practices.
As a destination that bridges metropolitan and rural environments, Zagreb County aims to strategically integrate all sectors and ensure innovative, responsible, sustainable, and inclusive tourism management, relying on European guidelines, UNWTO standards, and best practice examples.
All interested parties are encouraged to participate and submit their proposals via the e-Consultation platform.
