To enhance the competitiveness of the tourism industry and promote sustainable tourism, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports has announced a Public Call for the “Competitiveness of the Tourism Sector” program, allocating HRK 13 million for 2022.
The programme focuses on raising standards, improving quality, and enriching the additional offer of hospitality accommodation facilities and family farms (OPGs), supporting tourism development in less-developed tourist areas, and encouraging the creation of additional facilities and services to stimulate year-round tourism. Particular emphasis is placed on the green and digital transition of entrepreneurs operating within the tourism sector. Through a dedicated measure, financial support is also directed towards the recovery of the tourism sector in the Sisak-Moslavina County.
