Spartan Race and Retro Party in Sveta Nedelja
For adrenaline enthusiasts, Sveta Nedelja hosts the Santa Domenica Spartan Trifecta Weekend on 20–21 July at Lake Orešje. This international event gathers athletes and adrenaline lovers from around the globe who compete in demanding obstacle races. At the end of summer, on 30 August, a large retro 90s dance party, “Domenikana – Summer in Sveta Nedelja: When Will That Friday Come?”, will take place at Ante Starčević Square, bringing back the best dance hits of the 1990s.
Sport and Gastronomy in Dubravica
On 27 July, the Municipality of Dubravica becomes a hub of sporting and gastronomic delights. Celebrating Municipal Day, the Sports and Gastro Day includes a traditional cycling tour and a cooking competition focused on kotlovina, a local meat speciality. Traditional Food Festival in Vrbovec
One of the summer’s highlights is the 43rd Traditional Food Festival “Kaj su jeli naši stari” (“What Our Ancestors Ate”), held from 23 to 25 August in Vrbovec.
