The Director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board announced the launch of the "Your Local Host" badges

Ivana Alilović, the Director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board, formally presented twenty "Your Host / Local Host" labels to landlords from the Zagreb County region at the Tourist Board's office in Velika Gorica. This designation offers several advantages to its recipients, enhancing their visibility amongst private landlords and attracting guests seeking an authentic and welcoming experience.

The Director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board, Ivana Alilović, has presented special labels in the form of plaques to be prominently displayed at the entrances of accommodation facilities that fulfil specific criteria. The recipients of these distinguished labels include accommodation establishments located in the regions of Jastrebarsko, Marija Gorica, Pisarovina, Pokupsko, Samobor, Sveta Nedelja, Velika Gorica, Sveti Ivan Zelina, and Žumberak.

"In the accommodation capacity framework of Zagreb County, domestic private accommodation significantly predominates, forming the cornerstone of our tourism offering. I commend the initiative of the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports in highlighting these hosts through the 'Your Host' label. This initiative recognises landlords who, through their authenticity, dedication, and hospitality, contribute to establishing a distinctive identity for the destination. The label serves not only as a symbol of quality but also as an incentive for the ongoing development and professionalisation of local tourist services. I firmly believe that such initiatives elevate standards, enhance competitiveness, and support the overall development of tourism in Zagreb County," stated Ivana Alilović, the director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board.

The directors of various local tourism boards attended the presentation of the labels. Petra Masnec represented the Tourist Board of the City of Jastrebarsko, Maja Toth Bušljeta represented the Tourist Board of the City of Velika Gorica, Marinka Zubčić Mubrin represented the Tourist Board of the City of Sveti Ivan Zelina, Vladimir Šinko represented the Tourist Board of the Savsko-Sutlanska Dolina and Brigi area, and Ivanka Rogić represented the Tourist Board of Pisarovina Municipality.

The "Your Host" initiative is a project introduced in May of this year, executed in collaboration with the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports. This initiative aims to promote the availability of authentic and high-quality accommodation, highlighting the integral role of traditional Croatian hospitality as a distinctive aspect of the tourist experience.
