The Zagreb County Tourist Board has received the Intermedia-globe Silver award in the Tourism & Travel Media Awards category for their promotional video "A Taste Above." This award is given out by the World Media Festivals organisation in Hamburg to recognise outstanding film and production on an international level. This is the third award the promotional video has received, and the tourist board views it as just the beginning of more recognition.

"We won this prestigious award for our outstanding promotional video, 'A Taste Above', breaking records at international festivals yearly. It holds the top spot for the best world tourist film in the CIFFT Circuit 2023 competition. This video is a testament to our commitment to excellence, which we believe is essential for the growth of our tourist economy. The Zagreb ring is a destination rich in tourist attractions and facilities, and we are dedicated to continuing to develop and promote it," stated Ivana Alilović, Director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board.

The promotional video "A Taste Above - Zagreb County" (also known as "Okusi prije svega" in Croatian) recently won two prestigious awards. It was named the best wine film at the Zagreb Tour Film Festival, beating 106 other films in the competition. Additionally, it was selected as one of the top 10 tourist films in the world at the ART&TUR festival in Portugal.

The award ceremony held this year had 156 participants from 13 different countries across the globe.

The Tourist Board of Zagreb County was awarded silver for their promotional video "A Taste Above". They competed against 156 applicants from Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Malta, Singapore, Slovenia, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

According to the World Media Festivals organisation, our international awards represent the utmost excellence in production standards. They are among the most prestigious recognitions in the creative and visual industry. The winners are selected based on their creativity and effectiveness in engaging their target audience.

It is anticipated that the promotional video will receive additional awards this year.

In 2023, the tourism film "Zagreb County – A Taste Above" is set to be showcased in multiple international festivals worldwide. The tourist board predicts this new film will garner international recognition and accolades for the destination.
