The Zagreb County Tourist Board, in partnership with the Edward Bernays University of Applied Sciences, has initiated a three-day education program as part of the "Sustainable Tourism of the Zagreb County" project. In addition to the regional tourist board's mandate to enhance education and proficiency among tourism sector employees and stakeholders in the county, this program aims to promote sustainable tourism practices. The initiative will equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to integrate sustainability principles into their tourism operations.
The education's purpose is to enhance the communication skills of tourist board leaders in the county area, enabling them to effectively promote the region's cultural and natural heritage to both tourists and locals. They will also learn how to use marketing techniques to advertise sustainable destinations while coordinating with the regional tourist board and promoting sustainable practices within Zagreb County. All these efforts will align with the Tourist Board of Zagreb County's 2024 Work Program.
