The VIA VINO wine festival, a highly regarded gastronomic event, has been recognised by the Tourist Board of Zagreb County. With its third edition, this festival offers a one-of-a-kind program that takes participants to stunning locations to sample top-quality wines and sparkling varieties. Additionally, the festival combines art, fashion, music, and entertainment, providing an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

The second evening of the VIA VINO festival is scheduled to begin on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. The event will occur at the beautiful Modić-Bedeković manor in Donja Lomnica. This estate is an excellent example of central Croatia's architectural and cultural heritage. The mansion is also renowned for its historical significance, having been the residence of the celebrated sisters Milka and Vilma Bedeković. Milka and Vilma devoted their lives to culture, art, and women's education. This evening's VIA VINO festival will be dedicated to honouring their legacy.

On Saturday, September 30th, there will be an incredible fashion event that promises to be a truly unforgettable evening.

During the VIA VINO festival, Zoran Mrvoš, one of Croatia's most notable fashion designers, is scheduled to showcase his latest collection's timeless pieces. The event will feature a fashion show with the stars, highlighting the region's traditions. This collaboration with the Zagreb County Tourist Board aims to revive Turopolje's rich heritage through contemporary fashion, providing visitors with a unique experience.

The stunning setting of an outdoor evening is graced by the immaculately preserved manor house and its surrounding estate, offering a VIA VINO experience that promises to be truly unforgettable. This magical location will captivate, especially for those who have yet to visit.

The musical segment of the event will commence with a performance by the Jane ensemble. Known for their exceptional vocal abilities and striking stage presence, the ensemble's costumes are inspired by the traditional attire of Turopolje. The Meritas group will take over the music stage with their powerful musical duo to ensure the evening is unforgettable.

A selection of top rosé and renowned sparkling wines enhances the festival's second evening. Additionally, patrons can indulge in creative and locally sourced snacks crafted with the signature flavours of Zagreb County. This event promises to be an evening filled with traditional and unforgettable flavours, offering a fantastic atmosphere and exemplifying the most beautiful wine festival in continental Croatia.

The festival is moving to a new location this year, and the Puhelek-Purek winery, which won Decanter's gold award for the best Sauvignon Blanc, will be hosting the royal wine party with DJ Jurki.
