During a press conference held at the Garden Hill Hotel in Velika Gorica, the 23rd annual international business-tourism exchange PUT was announced. This exciting Croatian B2B tourism meeting brings together professionals from agency business, the hotel industry, tourism service providers, tourist board systems, and tourism journalists, providing a unique opportunity for networking and collaboration.
The tourist exchange has been a highly anticipated event for over two decades, organised by the Destination Management Company Vall 042 and the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies. Each year, a different Croatian destination is selected to host the event, and this year, the Zagreb County Tourist Board has taken on this responsibility. The exchange will be held at the Garden Hill Hotel in Velika Gorica for a week, from November 28 to 30.
The mayor of Velika Gorica expressed satisfaction at the largest gathering of tourism professionals in the city's history, the 23rd International Business and Tourism Exchange. He anticipates the city hosting more such events due to the construction of new accommodation capacities and hotels. The mayor thanked Mrs. Alilović for organising the successful gathering.
The Zagreb County Tourist Board will host this year's business and tourism exchange. According to Mrs. Ivana Alilović, the director of the tourist board, the city of Zagreb offers a green oasis with stunning natural beauty such as valleys, forests, and waters. Additionally, the city boasts of its rich cultural heritage, providing all participants with an authentic and unexpected experience.
"The PUT Business Tourism Exchange is an annual event that brings together tourism professionals from Croatia and neighboring countries. Each year, the event is held in a different destination, and this year, we are happy to be in Velika Gorica. We want to extend our gratitude to our hosts, the Zagreb County Tourist Association, for their hard work in developing the continental part of tourism in the region. The participants will have the opportunity to explore the many attractions in the area, which they can incorporate into their tourist arrangements. We are pleased to report that the response to this year's event has been very positive, with almost 150 tourism workers from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, and Hungary attending the exchange in the second week," said Ms Maja Šimenc, director of the PUT Exchange.
The head of the Membership and Communication Department, Mrs Mihaela Turniški, attended the press conference in front of the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies (UHPA) to express gratitude for their hospitality this year.

This event is a valuable opportunity for our family hotel l to establish contacts with potential partners. We believe that by working together with all the participants, we can find a way to maintain stability during these challenging times," said Mr. Domagoj Vrban, the owner of Garden Hill Hotel.
